Privacy Policy
1. Who We Are
Vital Kids ("we", "us", "our") is a parent-facing mobile application that suggests quick, phone-down play ideas for everyday family moments. The app is intended for parents and caregivers, not for unsupervised use by children.
2. What Data We Collect
Setup choices: the app may process choices such as age range, number of children, situation, location, energy level, and available materials so it can suggest a suitable activity.
Local app state: the app may store local-only state such as language preference, recently used setup choices, anonymous prototype feedback, daily free allowance counts, and subscription entitlement state.
Purchase status: if paid access is enabled, the app may receive subscription or entitlement information from the Apple App Store or Google Play Billing. We do not receive full payment card details from the stores.
Anonymous aggregate app events: when enabled, the app may send privacy-safe product events such as activity shown, feedback selected, broad setup context, language, app version, and a day-level timestamp bucket so we can improve activity quality and safety.
Technical data: app version, device type, operating system version, diagnostics, and crash information may be processed if production diagnostics are enabled.
What we do not ask for: Vital Kids is designed to avoid child accounts, child names, child photos, child videos, precise home addresses, and child profiles.
3. How We Use Data
- To show a parent a quick activity idea for the selected context.
- To remember local preferences and make the next setup faster.
- To enforce the daily free allowance and restore paid entitlement where applicable.
- To understand, in aggregate, which activity ideas work well or fail in broad contexts such as car, indoor, waiting, low energy, or mixed ages.
- To improve reliability, safety, and app quality using aggregated or anonymized technical signals where available.
- To respond to support, privacy, and store-review requests.
4. Children and Parent Use
Vital Kids is a parent utility. Parents and caregivers should choose the context, read the safety note, decide whether the suggested activity is appropriate, and supervise children directly.
We do not knowingly collect personal data directly from children. If you believe child personal data has been provided to us, contact privacy@vitalzone.app.
5. Storage and Sharing
Prototype state may be stored locally on the device. If production services such as diagnostics, billing, hosting, analytics, or support tools are enabled, we share only the data needed for those providers to operate the app.
We do not sell personal data. We do not use child-directed advertising, and the app should not include ad-based monetization for children.
6. Anonymous Analytics Boundaries
Vital Kids analytics, where enabled, is designed for aggregate product improvement only. Events should not include account identifiers, child names, child profiles, photos, videos, precise addresses, precise GPS location, advertising identifiers, or device fingerprinting fields.
Example event fields may include activity ID, broad context tags, selected feedback such as worked or unsafe, language, app version, and day-level timing. These events help us learn which activity ideas are useful across broad situations without identifying a parent or child.
7. Payments
Vital Kids paid access should use native Apple App Store or Google Play Billing only. Purchase, cancellation, renewal, refund, and restore behavior is managed through the applicable store account and store rules.
8. Your Rights
If you are in the EU/EEA, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, export, or restrict processing of your personal data, and to withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.
Because Vital Kids is designed with minimal local-first data, some data may exist only on your device and can be removed by clearing app data or uninstalling the app.
9. Safety and Sensitive Contexts
Vital Kids may include safety stop screens for situations where an activity suggestion is not appropriate, such as water risk, car/passenger safety, public boundaries, or escalation moments. These screens are part of the product safety design and should not be treated as professional emergency, medical, therapy, or developmental advice.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. If changes are significant, we will notify users through the app, store listing, website, or another appropriate channel.
